DIY Recipe

The main ingredients required for the body butter are natural butter like shea or cocoa butter, carrier oils like coconut oil or almond oil, essential oils like lavender oil, orange or any oil which smells good, scratch like cornstarch for thickening. Melt the natural butter in a double boiler. Keep stirring while it boils. Allow the liquid to thicken as it cools down to room temperature. After the butter cools down, whip it till it gets a light, creamy texture. Mix the essential oils with the carrier oils separately. Add the oils to the body butter gradually to get the desired consistency. Whip the mixture continuously and store it in a glass jar or container which has an airtight lid. Avoid storing the jar in direct sunlight.
